Relocating to Santa Clarita Valley?

There are six main cities that compose the Santa Clarita Valley and they are:

  • Castaic
  • Canyon Country
  • Newhall
  • Stevenson Ranch
  • Saugus
  • Valencia

Each is distinct – although they flow together – they all have their positives.

As far as what Real Estate in available for sale – you don’t have to go very far.  I have uploaded a dynamic list just below which will show you everything that is available within each of these cities.

If you attempt to search for Santa Clarita CA – You might find some listings – but the city of Santa Clarita is not placed as a choice within the Multiple Listing Service.  Therefore – the agent’s inputting the listings can only choose from one of the six cities listed above.

Relocation Homework – Call the Local Law Enforcement Officials

SWAT team preparing Before making a move – or maybe before choosing a home – you will want to contact the local law enforcement office and inquire about the area you are considering.

There are certain things that we call all live with – but if you move in without knowing what to expect, you are causing yourselves a huge disservice and possibly harm.

There are a lot of sites that will prepare you for living inside of a particular city or community.  But the best way is to give a call to the officer or deputy working the desk and finding out what they think.  We would do it for you, but we think it is best for it to be done by the prospective homeowner.

Also – don’t forget door knocking – We mandate all of our clients find out who is who in reference to their future neighbors. 

It must be our Backgrounds that motivate us to find out about who you will be living next too – it will serve you well.

How about Relocating to a Foreclosure in the Los Angeles Area?

Why Not? – if you are relocating, why not be like a majority of our clients.  When you are you are wanting to relocate, why not get the best bang for your buck.  Maybe a Foreclosure is just what the Paris911 Doctor ordered?

Relocation Stories from the Santa Clarita Valley

Without getting your moving company in writing – you are doing yourself and family a great disservice.  In fact, according to Casey Kirkman with AQMS Mayflower, it is probably the most important item you can ask for.

We just had a couple in our offices that was relocating from New York to the Santa Clarita Valley.  They found The Paris911 Team online – but had a family member that had a moving company back in the Big Apple.

You can always trust Family, Right?? Maybe not always.  “This was probably one of the most painful moves we had ever taken…”, said Phil.  “I cannot believe that my brother would do us this way, I am glad that I had you find the agent for us back home..”

It was my pleasure, but you are probably wondering what went wrong with the move.  The stuff that the company broke was not replaced.  It was delayed 4 days and the price charged was not the price quoted.  When Phil’s brother was asked, he said that they signed paperwork that gives them the authority to increase the price if they run into “overruns”.

I was very sad for Phil – I told him, “Phil, it is like the agents in our industry that are using clever oriented “phrases of English” to attract buyers and sellers.  I think they need to re-evaluate their positions and quit tricking the public…”.

Stating they are going to sell the sellers home in X number of days or they will buy it…  You should see the small print that accompanies that little hum dinger.

How about the one “I will Sell your Short Sale for FREE!!” – Wow, can I breathe for free as well??  Of course, that is the way it should be, in fact, those that are charging are an exception to the rule.

Thinking REMAX Relocation?

relocation You are probably not thinking “REMAX” relocation, but you might be thinking about relocating to Southern California. 

I was speaking to a caller that was considering Relocation to Los Angeles from the GREAT state of Texas – I remember explaining during a part of the phone conversation that in Texas you can cash flow Quadraplexes all day long, but when the Real Estate turns and becomes more of a true “sellers” market that Texas property is not going to increase in value as much as if it were in So Cal.  But to cash flow a property like that in So Cal – Not as easy.

So I continued, “It has to do with your specific purposes”, “what is your plan and what are your goals”.  The caller explained that he has not given it enough thought.  He is going to do more homework with his inner child and get back to me. Remember only 2% of people in the world actually set written Goals.  What percentage of people in the world are truly successful?  About 2% I hear :-)

Real Estate Recon when Relocating

In the military, as with Police Service, it was always important for us to “recon” a specific area in some way before making entry.

This was also used on a large scale and not just on entry into a residence or apartment.  Such a HAZ mat incident or Chemical attack.

Recon was very important so we did not have any of those “unexpected” issues arise that can cause more damage, especially when not prepared for them.
